Since upgrading to V3, I'm regularly being being presented a series of messages scrolling up in the log window, followed by an error panel advising me that SkyDemon has 'lost contact with the device', or some such words, and to log out and back in again.

Logging out returns to the start screen but the 'Agree' button is disabled, and the app has to be killed via the double-tap on the home button, flicked away and reloaded before I can log back on.

I'm seeing this on an iPhone 4S, a 5s and an iPad 2, all running the latest version of IOS7.

I believe, but I am not sure, that it has only happened in Planning mode, but it has certainly happened when just out of Simulation mode. I'm concerned that if this happens when in Flight mode, or in planning mode temporarily when airborne, I'll log out and not be able to log back in.

Anyone else seen this?

Tim,

Thanks - I was in the process of upgrading from a 4s to a 5s, and for a week was running both phones side by side while waiting for the number transfer, as well as the iPad. No longer a problem.

Is there any intention to change this restriction? I'm considering buying an iPad mini for yoke mounting, keeping the iPad 2 for display of plates, and will obviously keep the phone handy for emergency failures. I'd rather not get an Android device; common sense says I perhaps should for greater resilience, but I just don't want to learn yet another ecosystem.
